Based on a two and a half acre site, 7 miles east of Ennis, Leen Organics has been providing Co Clare with organic vegetables, fruit and eggs since 1997. Teachin Glas is a fully restored traditional Irish farmhouse set on our working organic smallholding. Renovated sympathetically using natural products, this eco-cottage is situated in rolling countryside on the edge of the Slieve Aughty mountains. The 200 year old building incorporates a wood pellet central heating system, solar panel, and wood burning stove for your comfort. Adjoining the cottage is a small apartment converted from an old granary. The smallholding is situated in peaceful countryside close to lakes, bog, oak woodland and hills, rich with varied wildlife.
